Testimonials
"With ANKOM's products, we were able to reduce labor costs of the department...allowing me to pivot our staff to other areas of the laboratory, while simultaneously reducing method uncertainty for most analytes."
-Michael Roche, Technical Manager Columbia Laboratories
“The ANKOM units greatly reduced the manual nature of the testing procedure,” Boyd shared. “As a result, we were able to decrease the ergonomic risks while increasing efficiency. Our analysts can now do other tasks while the ANKOM units are taking care of the manual portions of the test. The best part is that our analysts do not have the risk of repetitive motion issues any longer."
-Deborah Boyd, Chemistry Supervisor Nestle
Filter Bag Technology
Specially designed dual chamber Filter Bags greatly improve filtration by providing technician-free filtration,
drastically reducing filtration times, and replaces glassware.
Most samples filter within 5 minutes. Challenging samples that once took nearly 2 hours to filter and rinse are
completed in 10 minutes with the ANKOM TDF Analyzer.
How do you analyze Total Dietary Fiber?
The most common dietary fiber methods include: AOAC 985.29, 991.43, 2017.16 & 2022.01. Each method quantifies the relevant fiber components in food and pet food.
The conventional method is extremely laborious requiring constant technician involvement and multiple pieces of glassware.
The ANKOM TDF Dietary Fiber Analyzer automates the official AOAC methods and is used around the world for dietary fiber analysis and nutritional labeling.
The ANKOM TDF Analyzer performs stand-alone
insoluble (IDF), soluble (SDF), and total dietary fiber (TDF) analyses and gives the ability to capture the filtrate for subsequent HPLC analysis.
All method parameters are controlled and performed
by the instrument: chemical and enzyme additions,
rinses, heat and agitation, and filtration. There are no
manual transfer steps.
How do you analyze Vitamins?
The ANKOM FLEX Analyte Extractor is a fully automated instrument, which integrates the steps commonly found in many wet chemistry analyses: digestion, extraction, and evaporation. The FLEX has been specifically optimized and designed to run all the steps involved in (i) Vitamin A, E, D & cholesterol analyses, (ii) total fat analysis, and (iii) crude fat analysis.
Once the user starts an assay they can walk away, and in about two to two and a half hours, return to an isolated analyte ready for chromatographic or gravimetric quantitation. The entire FLEX process is performed in a nitrogen environment. Exhaust lines from the instrument can be plumbed to a fume hood or exhaust system, freeing up valuable fume hood space.
A user can choose how they would like their instrument configured. Preprogrammed methods are based on extensive research and official methods AOAC 2011.07, EN-12823-1, and EN-12822.
